Author’s Profile

Hi, my name is Mike Chaput-Branson.

I was born and raised in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, USA, where I currently live with my husband Joe and our two dogs Schuman and Wednesday. Oh - and Cassy, our room mate. Currently attending community college in Eugene on a part time basis, after a 2 year stint at Oregon State University (Go Beavers!). I still bleed Black & Orange.

I’ve called Eugene home for the past 5 years. After meeting my future-husband in 2002, I made the move from Corvallis to Eugene. Joe was attending University of Oregon at the time. We married in 2003.

After taking time off from school and focusing on our life together, our budget (we all know how that goes), and finding a home. We worked at meaningless just-pay-the-bills jobs. Eventually purchasing our first home. After going back to school for Drafting and Design I found a job with a local engineering firm. Which I began working full time with a wonderful company.

Recently I’ve been going to school for Photography and design. I hope to develop my art and design portfolio, expanding my career into something more creative and fulfilling. Wish me luck!
