Heirloom Tomato Salad with Basil and Fresh Mozzarella
The thing I will miss most about The Growing Season will be the tomatoes. They will be absent from my life though the winter. I will long for my fresh, ripe, delicious tomatoes. Next year, they will come back next year, like they do every year, and I will taste heaven again.
I must cherish the remaining tomatoes that we have gotten. Today our CSA box provided the largest heirloom tomato I’ve ever seen. I will cherish it and treasure this time before the final Harvest later this Fall.
