What a wonderful wedding, and great photography experience. Both families and friends were a joy to be around, and the fabulous Megan McIsaac was there capturing all the moments I couldn’t. I have over 500 images to sort and process, but here are some of my favorites so far.

I got to take some photos as my cousin Lovena’s wedding last weekend. The above photo is my Uncle Grant moments away from giving away his little girl.

A sweet ceremony, and a great party. I was glad to have made it. I’m off to another wedding tomorrow. Tis the season I suppose.

The Bride

The Bride: Betty [my sister-in-law]

I took 354 digital photos, about 15 Polaroids, 10 toy camera black and white photos, and 48 regular color film photos!! So, this is just a small sampling! I’ll upload more as I review/edit/develop/scan them. I was the backup/secondary photographer. The official photographer wasn’t able to be there for the whole thing. Hopefully I got a good mix and BJ & Mark are happy with what I did. I kept choking myself; with three cameras wrapped around my neck at one time, lol. It was more fun that I thought.

I was mostly worried about my battery life; but in fact my main concern was memory/film. I ran out of space on my memory card & was down to half a roll of color film during the reception (after the other photographer had left). I still had the speeches, the father daughter dance, and the cake cutting among other things. I kept having to frantically review the photos and my camera and delete the ones that I knew weren’t worth saving. So I probably deleted about 50 photos that were too blurry, had the wrong exposure or setting, or were of something stupid like my foot. HA!
